Our Iroquois are Ex-military aircraft and as such are classified ‘restricted category’. These machines are primarily specialised in heavy lifting. Lifting capacity of 1818kg (4,008 lb).

Jet Rangers are renowned for their reliability and performance, they can carry up to 4 passengers. Lifting capacity 544kg (1,200 lb).







History
Allan Beck is the founding director of Beck Helicopters, formed in 1972. While originally established to service the need for spraying, Allan quickly saw the need for a wider range of operations.
Allan was awarded a Queens Service Medal for services to search and rescue in 1989, he also received a Royal Humane Society Silver Medal for his bravery during the rescues. In 2020 Allan was made an Officer of the New Zealand of Merit (ONZM) for his dedication to the aviation and agriculture.
Allan and Beck Helicopters have delivered memorable services across New Zealand over the years. Including the placement of the New Plymouth Wind Wand, the removal of the tree from One Tree Hill in Auckland, the tower construction of AJ. Hackett Bungy and Gondola in Queenstown.
